Itinerary of Mekong Delta 1 day tour from Sai Gon
At 6:30 A.m., our guide will pick you up at the hotel via Cai Be for the Mekong Delta 1 day tour.
When we arrive in Cai Be, we’ll hop on a wooden motor boat and enjoy welcoming you to their stall, creating a very lively atmosphere.
After that, the boat stops by the riverside for the Cai Be Old Church, which carries French-influenced architecture from the colonial era.
The cruise trip continues slowly to a local household, where they traditionally produce pop rice. You can also try to make rice paper here and watch the locals pop the rice in such an interesting way.
The boat then crosses the river to a small islet where you can relax and cycle through the countryside on small roads. We will stop by a local host for a home-cooked lunch and just lay back on a hammock.
Then we sneak into a small canal on a rowing sampan, and you can see the freshwater mangrove growing along the river bank naturally.
After the rowing boat, we reach the rice milling factory area, which is busier and crowded with many big boats waiting for the ready products to be transferred.
